I am an artist who has worked for many years as both a painter and potter. Over time, the two and three dimensional works have influenced and transformed each other. I started out as a painter, using oils, with space, color and motif influenced by late impressionist/early modern painting, I eventually felt the urge to work in 3 dimensions, so took up pottery, wheel made, and then hand built. Throughout my life as an artist color has always been most important. Over time, my work has gradually evolved into large non-figurative canvases. And the abstract painting is now reflected in the new forms and motifs in clay.
